Bright Futures Alumni

The experience of completing substance abuse treatment can be both exciting and scary. Having all the newly acquired skills and knowledge can be helpful during this time. While getting adjusted to life in recovery outside of Bright Futures Treatment Center we offer our alumni the opportunity to stay involved in a supportive community.

A continuous involvement with a sober community has been shown to improve the chances of a successful recovery. The Alumni Program has former clients who are all at different stages of their recovery and life. This shows our clients that the program here at Bright Futures Treatment Center works.

Our Alumni Director coordinates weekly meetings at Bright Futures Treatment Center’s clinical building. This is located at 2320 S. Seacreast Blvd. Suite 300, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. At each meeting a new speaker, who comes to share their experience, strength and hope with their fellow alumnus. The weekly Alumni meeting enables former clients to share their experience, strength, and hope with current clients and to encourage them that sobriety is possible.

To provide our Alumni with continued accountability after leaving our program, we focus on their strengths and weaknesses. This helps the Alumni Director know where they need the most support in their recovery.

The Alumni Director also reaches out to those who are struggling. As we are all aware, relapse could be part of addiction. In some cases the client who relapse can feel unwanted and start to isolate from their peers. At Bright Futures Treatment Center we help tackle these issues by providing our former clients a safe, welcoming environment. We want all our former clients to be as successful as possible in their recovery.

Our Alumni have the opportunity to use the Bright Futures Facilities when needed.  This may include use of our professional recovery coach, meeting with our case managers, and several other amenities. Bright Futures Treatment Center does not only continue to impact and support personal development in its clients; it also provides direction in embarking on one of the most significant stages of your life.

Benefits of Male Treatment Programs

Though substance abuse effects both men and women, their needs while in treatment are very different. Both genders will have different experiences during their active addiction that may prevent them from opening up in front of the opposite sex. Being comfortable to open up and really work on oneself is a key to a successful recovery. We have geared our program towards men and their needs.
