Recovery does not stop once you stop treatment, and having a healthy system of support is vital to maintaining long-term sobriety. The goal of Bright Futures Alumni Program is to provide additional support and stay connected with clients long after they leave the program. Alumni are encouraged to reach out and stay connected via Facebook, text messages, or phone calls beginning when clients are in treatment and after they have left it.
Alumni Meetings
Once a month, Bright Future’s openly invites our alumni’s families, friends, and sponsors to attend our alumni meeting. An alumni and/or outside speaker will share their experience, strength, and hope with others and share their journey to getting sober, what brought them to treatment, and what has worked and been beneficial to them staying sober. There is always food, fun, and fellowship where alumni can meet with each other and are encouraged to get connected.

Alumni Outings
Every month, current clients, alumni, and their guests are invited to attend annual outings. These outings are always open to suggestions and include paintball, ice skating, airboat rides, barbecues, beach trips, deep-sea fishing, haunted houses, and more. We invite all alumni to attend and get involved with the program to reinforce the fact that sobriety doesn’t have to be a lonely journey, and that having fun in sobriety is essential.
